As SWARCO’s financial demands continue to expand, the organization is looking for a self-driven person to lead the development of their finance department. You will be responsible for optimizing financial operations to ensure that the company can make informed decisions and achieve its full potential.
areas of responsibility
As an Accounts Responsible at SWARCO's Finance and Administration department, you will be the go to person for the others in the accounting team.
Your daily responsibilities will include verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling accounts payable and accounts receivable. You will also be in charge of monitoring and planning cash flow, as well as producing monthly and yearly financial closures and Annual Financial Statements.
In this role, you will have the responsibility of producing tax returns and assisting with tax audits. You will be required to review financial reports and suggest measures to improve the financial situation. Additionally, you will support the Finance team with reporting, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
It will also be your responsibility to ensure compliance with local accounting regulations, IFRS, and corporate guidelines. You will work closely with the Accounting Specialist, providing technical support and advice.
In your day-to-day operations, you can expect to be responsible for:
The business units GL accounting
- Operational and financial lease accounting
- Reports, information and updates for decision-making
- Documenting accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Liaising with Finance Manager to improve financial procedures
- Quality process responsibility for functional processes
- Communication with stakeholders

- Proficiency in both spoken and written English
