We are looking for a competent finance professional to join our dynamic Nordic Finance team in a temporary position, to backfill an upcoming maternity leave. The role is reporting to the Nordic Finance Manager. Based in the Nordic Hill’s head office in Virum, the team supports an organization consisting of 40 employees in Denmark, Sweden and Norway.

The position
The main purpose of the position will be to help maximize Hill’s Pet Nutrition Nordic’s performance by:

• Working on finance related tasks collaborating with the Nordic Team and also local country teams and accounting shared service centers
• Accurate and timely completion of key control activities
• Internal and external reporting
• Ensuring that the financial processes comply with Colgate Financial Policies

Responsibilities and duties
We expect our new colleague to become an integrated and valued Finance Team member, through:
• Assisting Finance Manager in preparation of financial reporting to external and internal stakeholders
• Preparation of monthly Net sales closing for Denmark and other relevant closing task
• Produce timely and accurate reports supported by insightful analysis
• Support CBS Account receivable on relevant processes
• Support implementation of new bank connection inclusive roll out of direct debit
• Maintenance of pricing in SAP
• Support SOX testing
• Ad hoc analysis

The candidates
The right candidate will hold a relevant degree from a Business School or University preferably with major in Finance or HD ( R ) or similar and have a track record of minimum 3 years of relevant experience in either audit or accounting function in a complex, matrix environment. You are fluent in English and preferably one of the Scandinavian languages.

Further, we will be looking for the following:
• As the role is highly team based it requires all the highly developed interpersonal skills that enable a good team performance
• The role requires a solid understanding of financial management and an analytical, result oriented and ambitious mindset
• With many conflicting demands and aggressive timetables, the role requires a professional, planned and organized approach to work, along with an objective and pragmatic manner
• Credibility of the Team is generated by consistently accurate financial plans requiring meticulous attention to detail
• Proficient skills in Excel and SAP
