about the job

This is a challenging position with a lot of responsibility and career opportunities, and you will be part of a Logistics, SIOP and Shipping team counting 12 colleagues in Denmark, the US, and Asia. The position is in Lyngby, and you will report to the Director of Logistics.

As their Planner your focus will be on “housekeeping” the order flow, manage purchase orders, production orders, sales orders, and transfer orders. In collaboration with their S&OPs, you will ensure that orders are always up to date and communicated correctly. You will use their ERP-system, and work closely with 3rd party logistics providers (warehouses in Rotterdam, Miami, and Singapore) and their external manufacturing suppliers placed in China and Singapore. You will work closely with R&D, Sales, and SCM to always ensure alignment within production.

Other tasks – but not limited to, are:
- MRP ownership: you will collect and analyze all information from Sales Forecast to PO and collect an overview of stock inventory
- Analyze trends and interpret data over longer periods and suggest improvements and value-added services. (Out-of-stock situations are the scope of planning)
- Performs loss deployment / 5 why / root cause analysis on stock quality issues
- Produce timely and accurate data to prepare reports on warehousing performance
- Ensure flow and standards for dangerous goods
- Root cause analysis: where and why to solve issues

about you

- A bachelor’s degree in Production or Supply Chain Management
- Experience working with logistics data and MRP
- Solid experience with ERP systems and Cargo handling systems
- Positive attitude and excellent verbal communication skills
- Diligent attention to detail and strong analytic skills
- Ability to report and communicate effectively to enhance internal & external understanding of performance and strategy
- Good verbal and writing proficiency in English
