We are looking for an Executive Assistant in Deloitte Finance to support and collaborate with our CFO. In this role, you will work on essential tasks such as the financial strategy of Deloitte Denmark, analysis and communication to top management in Denmark and the Nordics as well as to our global stakeholders.

Our goal is to operate a modern Finance department whilst we strive to continuously develop ourselves to deliver best in class advisory to our colleagues in the line of business. You will serve an important role in supporting the growth and development of our Finance department.

Your main task is problem-solvingin which you will be involved in all phases: Troubleshootiing, finding the right solution, implementing it and communicating it. The problems can vary from the need of a new policy, to creating and temporarily managing treasury over to the development and implementation of a new strategy in Finance, or discussing the future Nordic finance setup.
You will be the go-to person for our CFO whenever he needs something communicated and/or presented, but also a close advisor when he needs to find the right solution to a given problem.

This position is indeed filled with variability and the right candidate thrives in an ever-changing environment. You will work closely with the CFO, and need to be flexible and adjust deliverables, since deadlines can be tight. Many of your tasks and projects are characterized by their high demand for strong analytical skills, where you will need to apply your well-equipped financial toolbox.

You will have hands-on experience with a broad range of assignments and projects, some of which have the primary focus of increasing the profitability of Deloitte. The right candidate will feel comfortable breaking down both financial and non-financial analysis into inspiring storytelling in PowerPoint presentations.

Other projects will include optimization of processes, controls and reporting including scoping and development of project plans. Lastly, your tasks include ad hoc financial reporting, preparation of presentations both for internal use in Finance as well as for Executive Management. The list of potential assignments is long and you will have influence on the development of your role.

Exciting assignments await you

• Prepare and support our CFO to succesfully act as Business Partner to Executive Management and in that regard prepare and develop strong storyteling through strong analysis and presentations. This requires you to be able to contribute with financial acumen towards our CFO and other senior stakeholders
• Take lead on smaller cross-functional projects in Finance, incuding scoping and development of project plans
• Deliver ad hoc reporting of financial data and be able to swiftly translate ideas in to presentations (i.e. in preparation of budget presentations)
• Assist in driving the development of the future Nordic Finance collaboration.

The ideal candidate has the following competencies and experience

• You are fluent in Danish and English
• You have a financial background i.e. cand.merc., cand.polit., or HD
• You have had 5-7 years of fulltime employment in a similar role or as a financial consultant
• You are a strong communicator and have experience with preparation of ad hoc presentations and reporting (both financial and non-financial)
• You have experience from planning and driving projects
• You are proactive and curious
• You seek to deliver high quality work – but also know when an assignment is sufficiently solved
• You have great social competencies and get a long with different people with different backgrounds and on different levels
