On behalf of LogPoint in Copenhagen, we are looking for an ambitious Engineering Manager to lead the team responsible for Logpoint’s machine learning-powered security anomaly detection service.

LogPoint develops software products for the international cybersecurity sector, a fast-growing industry – and this is your opportunity to lead an empowered, cross-functional team within data science, software engineering and site-reliability engineering and manage relationships with stakeholders across the organisation, spanning countries such as Denmark, Nepal, Germany, the US and Israel.

You and the team are responsible for the development of a product in the LogPoint software suite, UEBA (User and Entity Behaviour Analytics). The software analyses data in near-real time and detects anomalous behaviour in users and entities in our customer’s IT landscape, and thus helps in the detection of threats to systems, data and people. You will report to the Director of Engineering.

Your day-to-day

• Manage your team and ensure psychological safety, motivation and quality deliveries
• Work with product owners, engineers and architects to define the UEBA roadmap, refine new features and design solutions
• Be a part of the Engineering Leadership group where LogPoint view their products and initiatives holistically
• Plan and start initiatives that improve the UEBA product and contribute to LogPoint’s overall business success
• Contribute to high-stake and critical features as needed

Your skills and experiences

• Management or leading teams is something you have done before
• Been responsible for delivering data intensive, multi-tenant, cloud applications
• Strong technical background and hands-on experience with AWS services, Scala, Python, container orchestration and parallel computation frameworks
• Preferably a solid grasp of statistics and machine learning
