As part of the management group, you will have a key position across the site to give advice to the rest of the Management group in financial changes that will help optimize the whole business line. Therefore, you need to be a trustworthy team leader and team player, and used to being a part of a dynamic and international business environment.

Your responsibilities include monthly and annual reporting, internal on site and external financial reporting to Holland. Akzo Nobel Salt A/S is part of the Nouryon group. In close dialogue with the business line, you will forecast, handle budgets, and lead the internal control process. Furthermore, you will be in charge of the yearly audit.
Nouryon enable their employees to imagine and implement innovative ways of working and serving their customers. Within this context, your mission is to keep developing this environment by acting as a member of the site leadership.

Your profile

• Experience as a controller or finance manager preferable from the process industry (min BA in economics)
• Familiar with working within a matrix organization
• Experience with accounting, finance, financial controlling, Danish legislation, CO2 accounting
• Accounting knowledge within IFRS
• Experience in developing business cases, business analysis and variance analysis
• Experience in business improvement, change management and preferably in department restructuring and lean in financial services and workflow
• Leadership skills
• The ability to communicate and navigate within a multinational and cross-cultural environment
• Experience from an international company and a working environment where guidelines and strategic priorities come from HQ
