Scalepoint is looking for a Nordic Category Manager who is a team player and passionate about category management, sourcing, negotiation, and building & maintaining strong partnerships with both internal collaborators as well as external suppliers. Is that you?

At Scalepoint, they aim for the stars. They are pioneers within the development of world-class claims management software for the insurance industry by using SaaS technology that gives insurers flexibility for the future.

The job is based at their headquarters in beautiful Copenhagen, and approximately 15-20 days of travel in Scandinavia is to be expected per year.

about the position

As the new Nordic Category Manager, your main task will be to ensure that customers have access to a portfolio of highly competitive agreements.

You welcome the opportunity to take full ownership of your own categories across the countries where Scalepoint operate. And you pride yourself in running them efficiently and ensuring that the contractually agreed benefits reach their customers – understanding the full end-to-end value chain. Your focus is on continuously optimizing these categories, and you develop strategies with a long-term perspective. To do so, you stay close to the market to identify opportunities as they arise.

Furthermore, you are confident in talking and presenting at all levels in the organization. You take an active role in communicating internally to customers and suppliers, whether the subject is the overall strategy, status of categories or something else.

You are analytical as well as strategic in your approach to working with suppliers. You understand that an agreement is only truly viable if it is a benefit to both parties, and you are not afraid to be hands-on when it comes to going the extra mile to make this happen.

about you

You have at least 3 years' experience from similar positions with e.g. category management and negotiation – entering into and optimising win-win Framework Agreements.
You must be able to write and speak Danish & English fluently.

You are great at building and maintaining relationships and your commitment to your team is important to you. You are a self-starter; you take responsibility and involve both internal and external stakeholders to drive your categories forward. As a person, you understand that making mistakes is part of learning and taking ownership.
