On behalf of Tetra Pak Filtration Solutions, we are looking for a Process Engineer to join their team in Silkeborg.

Tetra Pak Filtration Solutions with offices in Silkeborg, Denmark and in Champlin, USA is the group competence centre for membrane filtration and water process technology. Altogether, they are 125 dedicated employees, 15 of those are working directely from the Silkeborg office. You can read more about it at:

As a Process Engineer, your primary task will be to manage commercial projects as well as doing the engineering part of the project. The goal is that you over time will become the expert in Process Engineering.

Role & Responsibility

Furthermore, you will:
• Clarification of scope with market companies and customers
• Process design
• Engineering of Filtration plants and surrounding equipment
• Creation of P&ID’s and item lists in AutoCAD and other tools
• Specification of components
• Request of purchasing
• Handing over to 3D drafting & Automation
• Review of 3D design
• Inspection of manufacturing /FAT
• Solve technical issues
• Manage manufacturing of pilot plants
• Support our R&D & Sales team with engineering tasks
• Control technical standards from customers
• Make risk assessment of machine safety (CE)

Who you are

To succeed in this role, it is important to have experiences within engineering of process plants preferably from the food industry. You have a commercial mindset that can combine technical knowledge with a good sense of business.You have strong communication skills – the ability to interact with people, be it stakeholders, colleagues or customers is essential.
We also see some of the main criteria to becoming a success as:

• Relevant background, e.g. Process engineer, Mechanical engineer, Marine engineer or similar
• More than 2 years of experiences as a Process Engineer
• Proficiency in Danish and English at high level, German skills are appreciated
• Experience within engineering of process plants
• 3D skills (Inventor) is an advantage but not a must
• Flexible and open minded personality
• A team player
• Result-oriented and an analytical approach
