On behalf of our customer, Air Liquide A/S, Randstad is looking for a Project Engineer for their Nordic Project Engineering team. This is a great opportunity for you to learn from an experienced and skilled team, collaborate with a wide range of customers, and lead exciting projects in the Nordics. Your office can be in either Malmö or Taastrup with a few days of travel to the different sites.


Key responsibilities

As a Project Engineer at Air Liquide, each day is different as you will lead gas construction and installation work from start to finish. This means that one day you will join sales representatives at customer sites, provide advice, suggest solutions, and prepare offers.

You will then go back to the office to construct the installation in AutoCAD, book technicians and tools, create purchase orders for material and organize necessary work permits.
You will also regularly visit the site to support the installation work and communicate with the customer. Taking part in qualifying Air Liquide’s suppliers is also a part of the role.


Qualifications and experience

We are looking for a skilled and service-minded professional who is used to running own projects, and who would like to lead gas construction and installation work from start to finish.

To become a success in this role, we envision that you have/are:
- An educational background within engineering, for example within mechanics or electrical
- 2-3 years of experience from working in the industry
- Experience with project management, visiting the customer’s site, creating orders, and managing different systems
- Experience with practical constructing and maintaining installations
- Knowledge about gas system installation is an advantage but not a requirement, since Air Liquide offers the extended training
- Experience with AutoCAD and SAP
- Fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken

Furthermore, you are able to work independently and prioritize between different tasks in order to reach objectives. As you will have a close collaboration with both external and internal customers, you must have a flexible mindset and be determined to find solutions to potential problems.
