Then grab this career building opportunity to set the direction for various projects in a growing, green and global company and play an important part in the development of production technology in the ROCKWOOL Group.

This is who we are

At our HQ in Hedehusene, you will become part of Group Technology, counting more than 170 skilled colleagues delivering the production equipment used by our factories globally. Within Group Technology, you will join our GT Cold End and Systems and Internal Logistics team of approx. 30 engineers.

“Working cross-functionally and across borders, we share a great team spirit and can’t wait to welcome you onboard,” says hiring manager Palle Yde Poulsen.

This is the role

As a project manager, you manage engineering projects in all phases, from initial scoping through manufacturing and installation to commissioning and handover, all the while ensuring that budget, scope and timeline all live up to the agreements.

Thus, setting the pace and ensuring progress in the various projects you work on, some of your daily tasks and responsibilities include:

• Motivating your project team both at the office and on site
• Managing stakeholders such as customers and suppliers as well as colleagues within our organisation
• Clarifying customer requirement specifications
• Leading the preparation of tender material
• Heading the procurement process in cooperation with the purchase department
• Making sure installation and commissioning are conducted safely and that the project is handed over to the customer in accordance with agreement and specifications

This is what you offer

You have a bright and analytical mind and are able to stay focused regardless of potential obstacles. As a person, you are a highly driven individual who can take charge and ensure commitment to the solutions and processes you create and maintain.

Moreover, you:
• Have a technical background and a degree in, for instance, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or similar
• Have experience in planning and executing engineering projects
• Have good communication skills
• Know how to keep your focus and stick to the scope
• Can handle long and short travelling – you should expect 60-80 travel days per year
• Are fluent in English

This is what we offer

You will become part of a highly competent team counting some of the best engineers within their field. And you can anticipate a lot of responsibility in this position, combined with a high degree of independence and freedom to solve your tasks as you see fit.
