Randstad is looking for two Building Instruction eXperience (BIX) Specialists on behalf of Lego


You will be responsible for delivering building instructions and ensure consumers the best physical and virtual building experiences.
This is an opportunity to work with design of the LEGO building experience. Integrating the newest of digital technologies with the traditions and strengths of the physical building instruction, and secure that this results in a coherent LEGO design language and building flow for each new model and for all target groups. Close collaboration with business stakeholders and working with an agile mindset is a core value.

Core Responsibilities

- You have an end-to-end perspective on building instructions: how to fit the target group, model, age and price
- Be an children’s ambassador in the development process and challenge accordingly
- Always look for opportunities to improve the building experience
- Participate in tests and share relevant learnings with both project, BIX and other relevant stakeholders
- Integrate validated test results and observations in your work and challenge decisions that conflict with best practice
- Identify and involve all relevant stakeholders in necessary/critical deviations or concerns
- Responsible for relevant communication across the value chain and updating relevant project plans

Do you have what it takes?

- You have a background as technical designer, design engineer or similar education
- You have both skills and interest in 3D and 2D tools and digital development
- You are an experienced user of these tools: 3D, 2D tools as indesign, solidworks and MS office
- You are able and willing to develop and broaden your professional skills to ensure that every solution is of the best quality
- You are flexible and proactively participate in new challenges and initiatives
- You stay up-to-date with new internal and external trends within your field
- You have a strong understanding of model construction and target group
- You contribute with knowledge about children’s motoric skills and play patterns by actively engaging in tests, workshops etc.
- You have effective communication and collaboration skills, with fluency in English
