Randstad is helping Develop Diverse to find a Senior DevOps to join them as they scale their software and improve their tooling and processes.

Job Description

Develop Diverse are based in Copenhagen, but remote is also OK.

Develop Diverse are looking for someone senior to mid-level who has experience in scaling software, making software more performant, and improving development tools. This includes database scaling (MySQL), in-memory cacheing (Redis), virtualization, server scripting using Ansible/Chef/Puppet.

Their software is also machine-learning intensive, so part of this role would be taking crude, proof-of-concept level machine-learning code written in Python and scaling and refactoring it in a way that makes it performant and production-ready.

What Develop Diverse expect from you
- Have 5 years’ experience with Linux Systems Administration
- Have 4 years’ experience with Python
- Have 3 years’ experience with Ansible/Chef/Puppet or equivalent server scripting tool
- Have a solid understanding of Linux/POSIX operating system internals (pipes, signals, process escalation etc.)
- Have used a command-line debugger (GDB or equivalent) in a project
- Have used a profiler utility (Gprof or equivalent) in a project
- Have an interest in Machine Learning
- Be security-minded

You will be reporting directly to the CTO of Develop Diverse
