Are you an energetic and ambitious people-person with a strong HR DNA? Do you have experience with various domains of HR from a corporate environment? Are you interested in being a key member of a staffing and professional development team in Copenhagen and part of a global consulting firm? If so, this role may be a great fit for you!

As a member of the Copenhagen Staffing Team at Bain & Company, you will ensure that staffing and operations run efficiently for Denmark whilst in close collaboration with your Nordic colleagues. You are offered the unique opportunity to be responsible for managing the entire staffing process including relationship building, coaching and guidance of consultants, reviewing, sparring, etc. You will act as a sounding board to leadership on case teams and provide support to major projects to continually improve Staffing and PD. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the Staffing and PD efforts of the company.

areas of responsibility

You will be responsible for the personal development of a group of consultants with diverse backgrounds. This responsibility requires superior communication skills and a strong ability to connect with people due to frequent dialogues on different levels with each consultant.

You will also be responsible for the following Staffing and Personal Development tasks:

Staffing responsibilities include:
- Overseeing critical weekly staffing processes and interacting with key stakeholders on a daily basis to maintain tracking of pipeline status and staffing needs
- Working with the HR team to proactively manage the holiday/training/recruiting approval process as well as alignment of local legislation
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment of teams
- Making team staffing decisions and recommendations based on the needs of the case in terms of seniority and skills, client prioritization, and individuals’ PD and other staffing needs
- Maintaining staffing records and collaborating with the Finance and Global Business Services teams on team movements and updates

Personal Development responsibilities include:
- Building strong relationships with assigned consultants and staying updated on their performance, PD needs, and personal needs, and providing coaching, feedback, and career counseling through open, trusted communication
- Facilitating the semi-annual consulting performance review process and playing a key leadership role in the pre-calibration and rating meetings for responsible consultants, with support from relevant stakeholders
- Acting as a sounding board on issues related to PD, retention risk, employee satisfaction, and office culture
- Continuously working to improve local staffing processes and supporting global staffing initiatives as required

You strive to deliver at the highest standard, taking ownership of your tasks and enjoy being a part of a team and collaborating with others.

Ideally, you tick some of the following boxes:
- Experience of working in a demanding corporate environment, preferably a professional service, consulting, blue-chip organization or hospitality area
- Experience of working in a learning and development role with a specific interest in people and professional development
- Proven organizational skills and strong administrative experience
- Full proficiency in written and spoken English (and ideally Danish)
