about the role

In this Nordic & Baltic role, you will be responsible for managing the project of the fit-out of new stores. You will also drive the refurbishment of current store displays to ensure that the store appearance and brand presentation are compliant with the Miele brand to provide a premium customer experience

You will oversee the ongoing facility management and out-of scope maintenance for the store portfolio; working with the Building Services team to proactively manage repairs, maintenance, and day-to-day adherence to country-specific laws and guidelines throughout the Nordics & Baltics.
Your primary task, driving and shaping the business, will include:

- Implementing the Nordics & Baltics 2023-2030 Own Retail expansion plan
- Working with the central “Retail display and expansion team” to tender the shop-fit contracts and find a local agency to execute their new stores.
- Proactively managing multiple projects to ensure that new stores and projects are completed on time and within budget
- Overseeing financial budgets of projects and potential cost savings are maximized
- Ensuring that all stakeholders are informed, and obstacles are overcome by working together with all relevant departments & suppliers
- Project leading & motivating all local agencies, suppliers, and contractors from legal completion to opening of fit-for-purpose stores
- Providing accurate site measure surveys, generating project reports and regular feedback to the leadership team and stakeholders.
- Ensuring that Health and Safety requirements on site are maintained in accordance with agreed policies and procedures
- Managing ongoing refurbishment and maintenance of displays and stores to the Miele premium standards expected

In this role, it’s important that you can manage multiple stakeholders both internally and externally to ensure that project expectations, deadlines and budgets are met

about you

Your skills:

- + 2 years of Project Management experience including shop-fitting project management
- Able to interpret plans and building/architect drawings and implement build-ability solutions on the spot
- Understanding of Health & Safety procedures as applicable to retail fit-outs and site safety
- Experience from similar position preferably at a premium retail brand
- Experience of managing materials and processes within the construction industry
- Experience with project cost and budget management
- Motivated by managing multiple work streams and ensuring efficient outcome simultaneously
- Fluent in written and spoken English

- Creative, solution-oriented, proactive, working independently and able to manage tight deadlines
- Adaptable to change and able to manage new and challenging situations
