For Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy R&D Department we are looking for a skilled and experienced technical project manager to handle our electrical engineering tasks. The systems consist of power converters, electrical control and power supply panels as well as medium voltage equipment and grounding, EMC and lightning protection systems for the wind turbines.
The technical project manager is responsible for managing our project requirements and technical system deliverables, as well as taking an active part in the management of interfaces and technical alignment between the different parts of the wind turbine. The technical project manager is also expected to play a role in the definition of future electrical developments and designs for the specific turbine platforms.

What are my responsibilities?

• You will have a role as a technical project manager of smaller technology development projects
• Driving control feature development projects through the whole process from requirement specification through design to test and validation
• Coordination and priorities as well as task execution on key tasks
• Coordinate and execute wind turbine control feature projects
• Driving technical solutions and reviews with internal and external design teams and multiple stakeholders and solution providers
• Task coordination and priorities as well as task execution on sub system performance level

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• You have an education within electrical engineering and minimum 3-5 years of experience. Experience within wind turbine product development is preferred and/or project management of complex products with multiple stakeholders and suppliers
• You are a skilled system engineer with deep technical understanding
• An overall electrical understanding including knowledge and experience within electrical system design and wind turbine operation is required
• You are familiar with working in large matrix organizations
• You are a dedicated team player and you thrive in a multi-cultural environment
• You have excellent practical and people management skills, strong communication skills and can interface with numerous parties
• You possess fluency in spoken and written English
