We are seeking a Head of Group Marketing & Communications for a fixed-term maternity cover. The position has an expected duration of 12-14 months, depending on the start date, with the contract concluding on December 31, 2026. For the right candidate, there is a potential for a permanent role at the end of the contract period.
about the position
As the new Head of Group Marketing & Communications, you will be essential in enhancing the marketing and communications efforts across their 16 locations in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific.
Your main objective will be to support branding activities across all client touchpoints and service the needs of the business with marketing materials as well as manage the team and drive progress and impact on key projects and tasks.
The role requires solid interpersonal skills and effective stakeholder management as well as project management experience to support the tasks and requirements of their many stakeholders, including product owners, country managers and Group functions, such as HR and IT.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery of strategic marketing and communication projects to enhance their global and local efforts through effective project management skills
- Managing a small team with two direct reports (Marketing & Communications Coordinators)
- Build trust with key stakeholders across the Group to ensure effective collaboration
- Creation, design and maintenance of marketing materials in accordance with visual guidelines, to support business needs (one-pagers, product sheets, presentations, videos, etc.)
- Development of internal guides, tools and templates to ensure consistent branded content
- Coordination of LinkedIn content, posts, and KPIs
- Updates and maintenance of website content and news
what do you bring?
You are a marketing and communications professional with a master’s degree or a related field, complemented by 4-7 years of experience, preferably from B2B companies.
Additionally, you have experience with:
- Stakeholder Management & Project Management: Driving projects from A-Z with good coordination skills and a strong ability to build trusting relationships across the organization and navigate a complex, global stakeholder landscape with a diplomatic approach.
- Digital Content: Managing social media (content calendars, posting, KPIs; especially LinkedIn) and handling website updates (WordPress is an advantage).
- Technical & Creative Skills: Proficiency in Office 365 (PowerPoint, Word) and strong graphic design skills with a keen eye for aesthetics (ability to use Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop is an advantage).
- Full professional fluency and excellent copywriting skills in both English and Danish.
