your role and responsibilities

As HR Director, you will receive a clear management mandate and take on a key role in the Senior Management Team, setting the strategic direction for HR efforts. You will be supported by a dedicated HR team consisting of two HR Business Partners and an HR Admin profile, for whom you will set the direction.

Your primary task is to ensure that HR strategies are realized in line with DHL's global objectives.

You will do this by:
- Developing and implementing HR strategies, as well as driving the entire employee journey from recruitment to offboarding, including performance management, Comp & Ben, and payroll.
- Collaborating closely with business leaders to provide strategic guidance and HR solutions that meet business needs.
- Ensuring compliance with Danish labor laws and managing employee relations to maintain a productive and inclusive work environment.
- Leading your HR team, facilitating internal cultural and leadership training, and driving initiatives that strengthen employee engagement.

Your primary workplace is in Brøndby, but the role also requires a regular presence at DHL's locations in Taulov, Erritsø, and Aalborg.

Therefore, you must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, whether you are navigating locally at a terminal or collaborating with the Nordic and global HR setup. You thrive in a dynamic logistics environment and maintain a strong overview when driving cross-functional HR initiatives and facilitating training.

We expect you to bring:
- Solid experience from an HR Manager or HR Business Partner role, preferably within the logistics, transport, or FMCG industry.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of Danish labor laws, legislation, and various collective agreements.
- The ability to think strategically and analyze HR data, along with documented experience in driving and implementing HR initiatives.
- Fluency in English and Danish, both written and spoken.
