At Freitag, we are busy in the best way possible with exciting new construction projects across Mid and West Zealand. To support our growth, we are looking for both experienced, quality-conscious Machine Operators and reliable Groundworkers to join our strong team on-site.
your Primary Tasks
Depending on your profile, your daily tasks will include:
For Machine Operators:
- Operating larger and smaller construction machinery (e.g., excavators, wheel loaders, and dumpers).
- Leveling, setting out, and fine grading (preferably using GPS machine control).
- Daily maintenance and care of the machinery.
For Groundworkers:
- Assisting with manual earthworks, drainage, sewer, and paving work.
- Assisting machine operators with measurements and manual tasks on-site.
For both roles:
- Participating in general on-site tasks to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Contributing to a safe and clean working environment.
what we omagine about you
We are looking for candidates who can nod along to one of the following profiles:
If you are applying as a Machine Operator:
- You have solid experience operating machinery within the construction and civil engineering industry.
- You hold a valid machine operator's certificate (a sewer pipelayer certificate is a plus, but not a requirement).
- You are experienced in using machine control/GPS.
If you are applying as a Groundworker:
- You have practical experience from construction sites and enjoy physical, outdoor work.
- Experience with sewer work, paving, or concrete is a strong advantage.
General requirements for both roles:
A valid driver’s license (Category B – Category BE is a plus).
You are self-driven, solution-oriented, and always keep safety top of mind.
You speak English (and/or Danish) at a level that allows you to communicate safely on-site.
