On behalf of BioCirc, we are looking for a Manager of Commercial Excellence who will contribute to the development and optimization of the operations and EPC divisions. Your role will primarily support the EPC organization and its activities related to engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) as well as software solutions. Your primary workplace will be Middelfart, with required travel on certain days to Bredstedt near Flensburg, including associated commuting time.

As BioCirc’s new Manager of Commercial Excellence, you will be a cornerstone in translating BioCirc’s vision into measurable growth. In the short term, your success will be defined by the integration and operationalization of the EPC business into the Group and the co-development of a robust software strategy. Looking ahead, you will play a pivotal role in scaling these solutions and driving expansion into new European markets, ensuring sustainability in BioCirc’s commercial foundation.

You will gain broad exposure across the organization by working closely with leadership and colleagues from both technical and commercial functions, building strong relationships in a collaborative, ambitious, and informal team environment. Ultimately, the role offers the chance to make a real impact on the green transition by driving projects that scale biogas, carbon capture and storage, and other sustainable energy solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and shape strategic initiatives in close collaboration with our EPC and operations divisions, helping to strengthen and scale BioCirc’s green energy platform.
• Analyze operational optimization and investment opportunities, assessing their business implications and translating insights into clear and actionable decision support.
• Develop structured decision materials and recommendations for management based on data, analyses, and close dialogue with internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive strategic projects from analysis to implementation, ensuring effective execution and measurable business impact.

about you

You are a self-driven professional with a genuine passion for the green transition. You thrive in a high-growth scale-up environment, possessing the ability to engage with colleagues across divisions and departments from Group functions to the operational teams delivering our projects.

In addition, your qualifications and expertise include:

• A master’s degree within, e.g., Business, Economics, or Engineering.
• A proven track record of 3–5 years of experience from a top-tier consultancy or an in-house strategy or business development unit, preferably within the energy sector.
• Strong proficiency in strategy, problem-solving, and project management. Experience related to budgets, forecasting, and reporting is an advantage, as is experience with software strategy.
• Professional proficiency in English and Danish; fluency in spoken German is considered a significant advantage.
