Are you ready to take the next step in your career? Do you have experience with catenary systems, and are you driven to play a key role on one of the Nordics’ most prestigious electrification projects? Then you have the opportunity to join Aarsleff Rail as their new Site Manager in Jutland, Denmark.
...
Aarsleff Rail is a central player in the green transformation of the Danish railway network. Currently, the company is driving the 7th stage of the national electrification project. In consortium with Siemens, Aarsleff Rail is establishing a complete catenary system on the route from Aarhus to Aalborg – a total of 2 x 144 kilometers. This technically demanding task encompasses everything from heavy foundation work to precision engineering at transformer stations.
your role and responsibilities
As a Site Manager in the electrification team, you play a central role in ensuring smooth collaboration between all stakeholders. You act as the vital link between the production on the tracks and the Project Manager, ensuring that plans are translated into reality while maintaining strong relations with partners.
You will be part of an international project organization with offices in Viby J and Avedøre, but your primary work location will be the construction site. From here, you will ensure project progress through operational steering and close collaboration with the Foreman – working primarily during the night shifts.
You can expect a varied role, where you will:
• lead, plan, and execute catenary tasks in close cooperation with project management
• monitor and track the planning and allocation of personnel and materials to ensure efficiency
• execute detailed planning to ensure continuous progress without downtime
• oversee production and quality assurance for the technical railway scope
what do you bring?
You enjoy working in a high-paced environment where no two days are the same, and you prioritize open communication and constructive dialogue to bring out the best in your team and partners. For you, leadership is about taking responsibility by making sure your team has the structure and support they need to succeed every day.
Furthermore, we imagine that you:
• Have a technical background as an engineer, constructor or similar, and/or industry-specific experience within catenary construction
• Bring relevant experience in site management, coordination or technical supervision
• Possess strong communication skills
• Have good judgement to know when to make a quick decision on the spot and when to stop and analyze the problem first
• Have a professional command of German to ensure clear communication on site
