In this role, you will be at the forefront of a major transition, evolving the department from reactive maintenance to a proactive, data-driven function.
responsibilities
You will have the overall responsibility for the department, ensuring full legal compliance, safety standards, and operational efficiency. You will lead the team by setting clear standards and defining the technical direction to minimize downtime and prevent equipment failure.
Your tasks and responsibilities will be to:
• Drive a proactive, data-led preventive maintenance strategy and manage reactive maintenance by enforcing root-cause analysis
• Take full ownership of the facility, ensuring legal compliance, safety, and the continuous improvement of site infrastructure
• Foster collaboration between departments to ensure an integrated workflow
• Translate high-level KPIs into actionable technical roadmaps and root-cause solutions to eliminate breakdowns
Finally, you will support capital projects, drive OEE optimization and ensure that the department supports the site’s commercial goals.
the ideal candidate
We are looking for a technically competent maintenance professional with a solid track record in managing both reactive and planned maintenance activities. You balance the technical depth required to understand complex electro-mechanical systems with the ability to motivate your team and lead by example.
You recognize yourself in the majority of the following qualifications:
• Solid practical experience within the technical field, combined with commercial acumen in cost control
• Strong communication skills to effectively manage stakeholders across the organization
• Fluent in Danish and English, with the proficiency to navigate Danish legislation and handle technical documentation
• Strong IT skills are required to support data-driven reporting (including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook)
You thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively balancing technical expertise with a collaborative approach to leadership.
