the core of the role
As the Sales Manager, you will be the primary driver of Legrand Datacenter Solutions (LDCS) in Denmark, taking full ownership of a portfolio featuring local Hyperscalers, Colocations, and Enterprise clients. Leveraging a comprehensive portfolio—ranging from Transformers, Busways, and Busbars to Cable Management, Racks, Containment, and PDUs—you will act as a strategic partner to the clients. You will operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, where you are responsible for driving and developing the customer portfolio.
Your daily workflow is dynamic and hands-on, acting as the vital link between clients and partners and Legrand Datacenter Solutions. You excel at networking across all organizational levels and thrive on spending a significant portion of your time in the field. By coordinating closely with internal teams and maintaining a strategic overview of your pipeline, you will manage projects ranging from minor upgrades to large-scale deployments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expand/maintain a network of existing clients and realize new business with new relationships
- Develop and implement tactical business plans
- Deliver proposals in the company’s quotation system
- Maintain regular contact with customers to ensure customer satisfaction
- Prepare and deliver presentations to end-customers and partners
- Monitor market trends and identify impact on product development and suggest new products and services to promote and market
- Promote the company’s image, reputation and brand identity by nurturing, sustaining and extending strategic relationships and building positive working relationships with current and prospective strategic partners / alliances
- An up-to-date customer and sales administration and CRM system (Salesforce)

Your success is measured by your ability to navigate the Datacenter Market and act as the trusted advisor that customers actively seek out. Therefore, you must be able to communicate complex technical solutions clearly and concisely, whether speaking with a specialist or a decision-maker. You thrive in a global matrix organization and maintain an overview of your pipeline, even when the pace is high.
We imagine that you contribute with:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant sales role
- A sales background or another relevant professional career path combined with strong relevant industry experience
- Experience in building and maintaining a professional network
- Strong linguistic competencies in both Danish and English
- Knowledge of CRM systems, with a preference for Salesforce
- Experience from the data center industry or a large global organization is an advantage, but not a requirement
