about the role
As the Senior Corporate Affairs Manager, you will act as the primary strategic liaison and regulatory navigator for Limak Cement. Working with a high degree of independence in the Danish office, you will manage a broad scope of responsibilities, including deciphering relevant EU legislation, analyzing its business impact, and delivering compelling presentations to leadership and internal and external stakeholders. Simultaneously, you will represent Limak Cement’s interests by collaborating with relevant industry associations and authorities, positioning the company as a frontrunner of decarbonization, green policies and monitoring relevant regulatory decision-making.
As Senior Corporate Affairs Manager, you will:
• Monitor and evaluate EU legislative developments within the cement, green energy, and sustainability sectors to provide actionable insights for management and relevant stakeholders
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses of regulatory shifts to support strategic decision-making
• Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with regulatory bodies, industry associations, and European market players to advocate for the company’s interests
• Advise internal stakeholders on how regulatory requirements could impact products, processes, and long-term business strategy
• Lead internal projects to ensure the optimal implementation of new regulations and align internal policies with evolving standards
• Translate complex regulatory frameworks into clear, company relevant guidance for executive management and HQ departments through targeted briefings and workshops
• Building the bridge of understanding between EU regulations and the company departments
to be successful in the role

You are comfortable with international travel and high-level networking, as you will represent the company at prominent conferences and summits. Furthermore, you seamlessly combine commercial acumen with sharp analytical skills, enabling you to break down complex issues into clear, actionable recommendations.
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following qualifications:
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar corporate affairs, public affairs, or regulatory role
• A master’s degree in Political Science, Law, Economics (or equivalent professional experience)
• Professional background or insight in energy intensive industries such as cement, steel, or utilities
• In-depth understanding of EU institutions, policymaking, and EU legislative workflows and formal/informal processes
• Solid expertise in green policies, carbon markets, hereunder emissions trading systems (ETS), and likely knowledge of the broader energy sector regulations
• Exceptional English communication and presentation skills
• A relevant network within relevant institutions
• Brussels based experience or relevant work from Ministries or state departments is very welcome
