Are you a master coordinator with a knack for keeping a cool head in a fast-paced environment? On behalf of Vestas, we are currently looking for a highly structured and service-minded Training Coordinator to join the Planning and Mobility team at their Aarhus office. If you thrive on helping others succeed, have a talent for making complex puzzle pieces fit together, and genuinely enjoy stakeholder management, this could be a great opportunity for you!
...
about the role
In this position, you will be the absolute go-to person for ensuring the internal site personnel are fully equipped, certified, and ready to do their jobs safely and effectively. You will take ownership of the training matrix for approximately 100 to 200 employees across various technical functions. Your day-to-day will involve:
• End-to-End Planning: Organizing training schedules for both new starters and existing team members. This includes everything from routine refresher courses to highly specific project or country-required certifications.
• Global Collaboration: Partnering with training providers all over the world. You’ll maintain strong relationships with current external vendors.
• Stakeholder Management: Acting as the crucial link between team leads, hiring managers, site personnel, and the central Training department to ensure everyone is on the same page.
• Administration & Forecasting: Keeping a sharp eye on the master plans and internal systems, matching training dates with complex shift rotations, forecasting upcoming quarterly training needs, and raising purchase orders for suppliers.
who we are looking for
We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being the helpful and patient anchor in a dynamic department. You are incredibly service-minded and don't get easily flustered when plans change or pressure mounts. In fact, high-pressure situations bring out your best problem-solving skills.
You have a fantastic overview of your tasks and a natural ability to spot patterns, optimize workflows, and see opportunities where others see roadblocks. Because you will be interacting with people across different cultures and seniority levels, your communication and stakeholder management skills need to be top-notch.
your background:
There is no single traditional path to this role. You might currently be working as a Personal Assistant, a Planner, or perhaps an HR/Sales Assistant. What matters most is your robust coordination experience and administrative flair.
Additionally, we expect that you:
• Are completely fluent in English, both written and spoken, as you will be navigating a truly global environment.
• Are highly confident using IT systems, particularly Microsoft Office. If you have prior experience with SAP, that is a great advantage.
• Bring a strong sense of urgency to your work, knowing how to prioritize effectively without losing your eye for detail.
practical information
• Duration: Minimum 8 months contract.
• Start date: We are looking for two training coordinators. One who can start as soon as possible and one for startup after summer.
• Location: Aarhus.
