Vestas is looking for an HSE Team Lead who will take responsibility for the well-being, development, and resource allocation of a team of approximately 30 external HSE professionals. You will play a key role in ensuring a strong safety culture across the Nordic countries, and since you can live anywhere in Denmark, you will enjoy great flexibility in your everyday life.

Your tasks

In your daily work at Vestas, you will be responsible for tying everything together and ensuring that your
HSE specialists thrive and have the right competencies for the individual construction projects. You create results by sharing important lessons learned across projects.

• You will hold regular 1:1 meetings with your employees, focusing on their well-being and performance.
• You will allocate the right HSE resources to the construction projects in close collaboration with the planning team.
• You will onboard and support new HSE professionals in Vestas' systems, safety rules, and culture.
• You will travel 60-80 days a year (typically 5 days at a time) to support the specialists directly on the projects.

Your profile and toolbox

To succeed in this role, you must have an in-depth knowledge of safety on construction sites and know how to motivate employees remotely. As the workday is dynamic and ever-changing, Vestas expects you to be highly flexible and adaptable.

• You have in-depth knowledge of and strong experience with HSE legislation and regulations in the Nordic countries.
• You have proven experience with management and resource allocation, as you will be coordinating many external consultants.
• You navigate IT and management systems effortlessly and can provide support to your team in SharePoint and IMS.
• As a person, you thrive in a highly independent role where you plan your own time and travel days. It is a great advantage if you have experience with change management, and if you have a natural talent for translating complex safety procedures into engaging communication, ensuring everyone understands the importance of your efforts.
